Confident Creative Caregiving: How Art Therapy Can Help Professionals and Individuals Living with Dementia

On May 5, 2021,

Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Erica Curcio, virtually presented to a group of over 140 Professionals and Care Partners at the Alzheimer’s Association MA/NH Chapter Map Through the Maze.

We had two goals:

1. Better creative engagement for people living with dementia

2. Stress Reduction through the use of art for the Professional and Care Partner

These images were created by participants. It was an honor to be witness to these images. Art is powerful and so necessary in our world today.
